Windproof liner makes it a little noisy

"The jacket is awesome, and I love the outside finish and the quietness of the outside. However, the wind proof liner makes it just a little bit too noisy for me when drawing my recurve bow. I have the same jacket in the insulated version and it’s more quiet I think because the insulation helps quiet the lighter. Because I hunt with a recurve and most of my shots are at 15 yards or less. I am returning this jacket because it’s too noisy for my purposes. But that is the only reason besides that it’s an awesome jacket. Just order one size up."

Proximity LT Hooded Jacket

"The fit on this runs super small, more like a base layer fit. It is a horrible option for any hunting much less Archery. Super restrictive movement, kinda loud, like a plastic liner inside. No chance your going to draw your bow with this thing zipped up because its so stiff and loud. One of the worst Kuiu products I've purchased to date. (and i have a lot of their stuff)"

Axis Hybrid

"The Axis Hybrid lineup is my all time favorite gear to wear. Warm or cold weather i love it. The only thing that bugs me about the Kuiu gear is the pants. They are awesome quality dont get me wrong but the pants dont have enough options of inseam length. I love my axis Hybrid pants however it is annoying that I have to pay to have them hemmed (shortened). Other than that they are awesome and worth the money."

Great piece of outwear

"Ive had this out in rainy + snowy mix,windy conditions with very little layering under and it kept me warm and dry. It fits tight but its an Archery item and is by design. I like the cut on the hood can anchor with release easily."

The description says this is quiet, but some of the the reviews state it is very noisy.which is accurate?
The Proximity LT Hooded Jacket has a very quiet fleece face fabric and is a great option for early/mid season whitetail hunts!
How does it do in the rain? It is water resistant right?
Yes it is water resistant, but it is not waterproof and will not replace a true rain jacket
