Reviews

Solid pants

"These run small like other Kuiu pants. Recommend a size up in waist. They're great pants for thick Bruch and briars. They would not be ideal for cold weather without layers beneath. Comfortable and great looking pants. I appreciate the suspenders that come with them too."

Great fit, tough gear.

"Walked through dry brush and thorns while collecting dove with no issues. The side and crotch vents function as advertised. Rugged yet breathable in SoCal desert environments."

Miguel L. (5/5)

So far, so good

"These have become my go-to hiking pants for scouting this year. They are true-to-size for me. Very very comfortable pants especially with the vents. I do still “feel” the jaggers but they also aren’t 20lbs wearing my skinny a$$ out! And they haven’t poked the whole way through either. I blast through wet fields and my legs stay dry. They are really all I’ve ever wanted in a field pant. Even how the pockets are cut. Great job and great customer service."

Richard K. (5/5)

Nice Pants!

"Nice pants! They fit perfect, very comfortable, and look great. The suspenders work well for me. So far, I'm happy with my purchase, if these pants wear like my attack pants I'll be very satisfied."

Pro brush pants and order

"These pants are great, they do run small, normally a 34, but those were to tight. Kuiu's customer service was outstanding. I hate doing returns and would just put up with them being to tight. But I reached out and it was a simple and very fast order correction, printed the label after going to their website, dropped the tight ones off at UPS and 3 days later had the correct size. these are going to work great against the Texas cactus landscape I will be hunting this winter. would rate them six stars out of five if I could. awesome."

Paul K. (5/5)

These pants are very comfortable

"These pants are very comfortable and quiet but they are supposed to be your highest performing brush pant. I bought them specifically for an African safari. The briars about tore them to threads. I just returned from Africa and I will be asking for a refund on Monday. These are too expensive to not perform."

Len D. (1/5)

Amazing Brush Pro

"Very tough but lightweight and breathable, I hiked the past week In Colorado with temps going from 42° to 87° and these pants kept me comfortable the whole time. As soon as they go on sale again I will be buying at least 2 more. I recommend getting one size longer in length to keep them from moving up when sitting to glass."

Clay W. (5/5)

South Africa brush approved!

"I bought these for a hunting trip to South Africa and they were great! Took the thorny bush as hoped. The inner and outer thigh zippers are great for cooling off in the afternoons. Highly recommend the PRO Brush Pant!"

Todd R. (5/5)

Misleading name

"These are not brush pants. I tried walking through a clear cut pine thicket with briars and got scratched up so bad I had to turn around. I walked through the same thicket a couple earlier with teh old school blue jeans topped with canvas and had zero issues. I only got these knowing they were made of good quality and lighter weight for the summer time scouting in North Florida. Don't get me wrong, they are nice pants and very comfortable, but not a brush pant as advertised. The material may be strong enough to withstand pulls from briars but it does not stop them from entering into the material and carving up your thighs"

Cody M. (2/5)

Best pants I own.

"My favorite pants by far. Own 4 pairs now. All I wear, semi waterproof great for early mornings with wet brush."

Q&A

I bought a pair of pro brush pants and worn them 3 times two washings on light wash with All detergent no perfume. The DRW is gone today as I hunted pheasants in fog not rain with dew on the knee high grass. My attack pants are 2 years old and probably 15 washings and still shed light rain?
You will need to retreat with with Grangers or Nikwax to reapply the DWR as some detergents will remove the DWR
This is a frustrating trend with top shelf hunting clothing companies... Why does Kuiu, and others, make jackets, shirts, and other tops that will fit guys with up to 60" chests, but pants made for stick figures? Does Kuiu's design team really believe all guys are built like funnels? I'm looking for some brush pants for an upcoming hog hunt. I can get a Kuiu jacket in one or two sizes down from largest offered. But need pants in two or three sizes larger than max offered. Make it make sense.
We would be happy to pass your feedback along to our development team!
Can the suspenders be bought separately for other pants?
We do not sell suspenders separately at this time as they are only designed to work with select models of pants
How wide is the opening on the zippered cargo pockets?
The cargo pocket opening is 6 inches.
