"These ankle boots are turning into a favorite of mine. They slip on easy enough with a secure fit. From wet garden work to setting up trail cams and some early season scouting, they are dry and comfortable. The heel knob makes them easy to take off when my tasks are complete. The 7" height is perfect at keeping out debris. Excellent boots!"

Great boot

"Great pair of boots\. They fit really well, have plenty of support, and aren’t a struggle to get on and off\. What surprised me most is how comfortable they are—they almost feel more like a tennis shoe than a hunting boot. I normally wear a 10\. 5 or 11, but I ordered a 10 and they fit just right with regular socks for warmer weather\. If I was buying them mainly for cold weather and planned on wearing thick socks, I’d probably go with an 11\. Overall, very comfortable and supportive boot. So far, I’m impressed with them and would buy again. I bought these over the Sitka boots because they are easier to put on."

All good - Size 11

"I typically wear a 10 or 10. 5 in most shoes/boots. I ordered up to the 11 and I think it was the right call. They are a little big in a regular sock, but I think they'll fit well in a winter sock. 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a pretty heavy. Otherwise, all good."

Use these mud shoes every day

"These are fundamentally well-designed and well-made mud shoes. A little tricky to get them on, but I found that if I stick my foot into the shoe, push down on the boot so that the boot is about 50% crushed and then pull up on the loops in the front and rear end of foot opening my foot slips in pretty easy. Once you’re in the boot is quite comfy and definitely provides a good seal around my foot. I use these almost every morning to go out and water plants and do a little yard work before work, keeping my socks and feet dry. Many other possible uses, but this is an everyday shoe for me."

MY FIRST PAIR OF ANY BRAND OF MUD BOOTS - THESE ARE GREAT!

"Over the years, I have tried on several different brands of mud boots without ever buying any of them. I tried these from KUIU because everything else that I've purchased from KUIU has been of excellent quality and fits perfectly. I'm a Size 9. 5 and I first tried Size 9 which fit but was uncomfortably tight so I returned them for Size 10 and I' very happy with these well made and comfortable Ash Color Ankle Mud Boots from KUIU."

Great Little Boot

"Purchased these boots as quick slip on by back porch door shoes, to go outside. Ended up taking them on a 2 week fishing trip to Seward Alaska. Were great on boat decks, both on the ocean fishing, and fresh water guided fishing. Then a trek to a lake that was supposed to only be 1. 3 miles, which turned into 8. 1 miles ( Possibly got lost for a short time :) Were totally comfortable, I had the Kuiu Ultra Merino socks on. Still feel a little pricy, ( That's why 4 stars ) but great overall traction on multiple surfaces and comfortable."

Mud Boots Ankle High

"Mud Boots Ankle High - really like these boots. So far I’ve just used them for yard work. They are easy to slip on and off without socks. I think they run a little small as I wear a size 11 shoe and my mud boots are size 12. I also have the Kuiu knee high mud boots in size 11 and they fit great. Go figure."

"Great boots…fit well and keep out crud from the trail and woods. Love the water proof design/ materials! Dirt and muck roll right off. Dirt falls out of tread easily. Wear a 11 1/2. Ordered a 12 and they fit nice with normal thickness socks."

Awesome boot

"Took my ankle boots for a 7 day salmon fishing trip, these are the most comfortable boots I have ever had to fish in. Easy to rinse off, and the finger tab and back boot lug make these boots very easy to put on and take off! I usually wear a size 13 but went up one size to wear 2 pairs of socks. Very warm, comfortable, and a great looking boot. Highly recommend."

Q&A

Would these work for Wisconsin winters? How warm will they keep your feet? Not for walking through deep snow but around town or snow blowing my driveway?
They are 7mm neoprene, but many customers enjoy them for the mentioned activities as long as the snow is not too deep
Do these run wide? I normally wear size 10 extra wide shoes and boots. Would these fit or would I have to order a size up?
These are not wide shoes and we unfortunately do not offer them in wide sizes at this time, so you would likely need to size up
How warm are these. We live in southeast on a farm. Need these for 4 season farm work and I’m worried they may make My feet sweat real bad.
They are great boots, but my feet do get warm in them above about 65 degrees
do these boots provide arch support?
There is some arch support, but you can remove the insole and swap it with other third party options if you choose.
