My favorite coat

"By far my favorite coat from kuiu. I’ve bought it in multiple patterns, I have the kenai vests also. Super soft, very stretchy and comfy. I’ve worn it as an outer layer on snowy days in the mountains. I’ve worn it in rain storms, it will keep you dry for a couple hours before soaking through."

Exactly what I needed

"Got this to bridge the insulation gap between being too light and too heavy. Tried it on In store and almost ended up getting two! Typically I sit exactly between a medium and large. I ended up loving the large because it was perfect sized to layer underneath while not being baggy or super long. Easily packable and light weight. It will be perfect for when a fleece won’t cut it on those crisp cold morning hunts!"

Favorite peice of gear I own.

"Perfect jacket. Wore this on a recent backpacking trip in the mountains to test it out. Kept me warm when it was cooler out in the morning and evenings. I even slept in it. Very comfortable and makes very little noise. Bought wize large and at 5'10"/184lbs with a more athletic build I have room under the jacket for a base layer and a hoodie if needed. It packs down decently enough but obviously not as much as down. Wind didnt seem to cut through it too much. This will always be in my pack or on me."

Worth It

"A solid addition to my kit. Surprisingly warm for how lite weight it is. Super quiet for archery. Not meant for brush busting as you will get snags. Well worth the investment."

Kevin C. (5/5)

Kenia hooded jacket.

"If you're hiking, this waterproof synthetic, super light, and breathable. It's really is everything you need. If you're a minimalist, base layer this jacket and a rain set."

Robert M. (5/5)

Kenai Hooded Jacket valo

"Very comfortable and packable jacket. Love the hood and the pit zips. Wish it had thumb holes for layering but still a great jacket. 5'7 170 lbs and a large fits good with room for layers"

Eli S. (5/5)

Kenai Jacket

"I was needing a jacket for a Wyoming Elk hunt and this fits my needs. The warmth to weight ratio is great. Large fit me 5’10 180"

Andrew S. (5/5)

The Best

"The perfect hunting jacket in my opinion. Great outer layer for chilly morning. A must have for late season hunts. Packs down really well for everything in between."

Hayden O. (5/5)

Still in the plastic. Won’t

"Still in the plastic. Won’t be using that for another month or so."

Q&A

Looking for an insulated jacket to take to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. Is the Kenai or Super Down LT a better option?
The Kenai will have a breathable synthetic insulation so it will be able to be used while hiking, but the Super Down LT is just designed for stationary use. I would recommend the Kenai
