"This is a very lightweight hat with great sun protection. It does run small so size up if your not sure. I wasn't happy with how to hat was folded for shipping, which gave the brim a permanent crease on both sides and doesn't look to be correcting itself. So I'm quite bummed about that."

Fantastic for golf

"This is my second one of these (I already had the grey one). I bought them for golf. They're great. Lightweight and super comfortable. They get better after a wash too. I do think they run small tho - I don't have a particularly big head and the L/XL fits perfect. I would have bought an M/L if I hadn't read a review about sizing before buying."

"The product quality is excellent, but I'm downgrading my rating due to the unacceptable packaging, which doesn't live up to the standards of a premium brand. Hats from Amazon that are five times cheaper come in elegant designer boxes and don't look like they were just pulled out of the trash."

Fisrt time KUIU buyer

"I am very disappointed with my hat. I had purchased an Arntson hat years ago. It is a solid panel hat. It is a little warn but great quality. The rim on the KUIU is so flimsy and wrinkly looking. The top of the hat has no rigidity and just collapses on top my head."

"A fantastic outdoor hat. I needed a hat that would protect my face and neck from the sun, have a locking cord sizing adjustment, and a chin cord to keep the hat on in windy conditions. This hat met or exceeded all those requirements. Additionally, the Airmesh material for the crown helps keep my head cool when there is the slightest breeze."

It is made in Bangladesh
How is it for fishing and water resistance?
It is my favorite option for fishing in hot weather! It is water resistant and does a great job repelling light rain, but it is not waterproof
