Reviews

Improves on previous

"I got this to replace my lost Kuiu Super Down Ultra jacket. It’s similarly light and great for frosty mornings, I wouldn’t want to have it if it’s really cold or when it’s raining as the rain and cold winds tend to go through it. This one seems to run less snug than the previous jacket I had but it also feels like higher build quality with slightly thicker feeling materials and chunkier. I use it both out in the field and around town. These aren’t particularly quiet field wear, I’d recommend a fleece or similar if you want to be quiet but it’s real good around the camp and packs down well for a backpack. Super versatile and looks a bit different to patagonias and stuff around town. The green is great both outside and in the city without looking like a cowboy. 🤠"

Q&A

What is the best hoodie/jacket for layering under the Elements jacket? Preferably windproof.
The Border Fleece Full Zip or Peloton 240 would be a great choices for your needs! They are not 100% windproof, but are extremely wind resistant!
How does it compare warmth and bulkyness wise to the super down LT?
The Elements line is warmer overall than the Super Down LT, and has a fuller profile than the LT.
I live in Alaska and I'm curious if this will be an all around good coat for the winter time up here?
This would be a great jacket for winter in Alaska; it's windproof, water resistant, and rated for use in frigid conditions.
I’m a 5’7” 160 lbs grandpa who can’t stay warm while watching my grandsons compete in hockey. Was wondering if this jacket would help me and if so what size would fit-medium or large?
The Elements provides a high amount of warmth, and is also windproof. For your size, you'll want to take measurements and order based off of your largest measurements. For extra room, you'll want to order a size up.
Is the carbon color black? Or off black?
It is black.
Would this jacket work for snowboarding?
Yes
