"I’ve been wearing the Blockfield Fleece Hoodie this summer in Alaska, where weather can change quickly from cool mornings to wind and light rain. Most of my use has been with a KUIU merino wool t-shirt underneath, and that combination has been comfortable across a wider temperature range than I expected. The fleece provides enough warmth for below-average summer temperatures without feeling overly insulated, and it does a good job of cutting the wind for a fleece. It’s also handled light rain well. As expected, it’s not a rain jacket, but it sheds brief moisture long enough that I wasn’t reaching for a shell immediately. The fit is true to size and layers well over a lightweight merino base without feeling bulky or restricting movement. The construction, stitching, and materials are what I’ve come to expect from KUIU—well thought out and built for actual field use rather than just looking technical. What stands out most is its versatility. I’ve found myself reaching for it almost every time I head outside, whether that’s working around the property, hiking, or running errands. It’s become my go-to outer layer for the remainder of the Alaska summer and into the fall. If you’re looking for a technical fleece that balances warmth, breathability, wind resistance, and comfort without unnecessary bulk, this one has earned a permanent place in my gear rotation."

"Finally — a men's jacket that actually delivers what you pay for! I bought this for my husband-who's in his 50s, 6'3 and weighs 180-190lbs. After searching dozens of jackets from top brands, this in Steel Blue color-made the top 3. And it's even more gorgeous in person. He's also very pick-and prefers the understated but quality styles, and I often have to return stuff. This checked all the boxes-and looks amazing on him! It's well-designed without the flash — no logos all over. Glad we discovered KUIU -my husband loved this jacket so much -he ordered a second coat shortly after. ZIPPERED SIDE POCKETS. . . the detail that sealed it-were the zippered side pockets! Sounds silly. . But seriously…everyone carries a phone and/or wallet — and need secure pockets. It's disappointing how many brands at this price point skip zippers to cut costs but still charge top dollar anyway. Do they think we don't notice — or that we'll keep coming back? KUIU didn't cut that corner. So refreshing! Last thing — I get that brands need to cut costs sometimes, but be fair and reduce your pricing accordingly. I'm not looking for anything more than what I paid for — nothing more, nothing less."

"The XL size of this midweight hoodie was spot on. It is a very warm & wind resistant jacket that’s also stylish for everyday use. The grid fleece inside does a great job of keeping the cold out & warm inside. Plenty of pockets, the hood fits well & I really like the full zip. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase & I’m probably gonna buy another in a different color."

- Hey I don’t know if u can help me with this question or not but I figured I’d ask. I wanted to buy the Blockfield Fleece Hoodie but im not sure whether or not I need a large or XL. Im tall and skinny, lanky, 6 foot 4 inch, 160lbs. I tried measuring myself and got a 35 inch sleeve measurement. I want a jacket that doesn’t have a box look on me, most of my jackets(XL) and shirts(XL) look to wide on me. I was trying to avoid that with this jacket so I figured I’d buy a large, but I wasn’t sure if the blockfield hoodie would be long enough in the arms and the overall length of the jacket. I read some reviews where some customers said they wished they had ordered a size down and for me that would be a large. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
